We are blossoming and growing and learning so much at Preschool.  We are readers who know the following sight words:  I , see, like, the, a.  We are scientists who know how to predict and observe and record.  We are citizens who can recite the Pledge of Allegiance and care for our classmates, our school, and our community.  We are mathematicians who can count, graph and chart.

A huge thank you to the Nanny who typed up our school directory and to our fundraising chairs and committee members and all who help to make our preschool so great.  Your hard work is greatly appreciated.

This month we will finish with the letter P explore the letters N and G learning all about the night sky, noodles, Native Americans, grapes, germs, and gratitude. We will learn the sight words is and by.

We will celebrate Pajama Day on Nov. 4^th. Students may wear their PJs and slippers to school. They may also bring a pillow and/or a stuffed friend that day as well as a flashlight for some fun activities.

Yankee Candle fundraisers are due Nov. 9^th and Corbi’s Pizza Fundraisers are due on the 10^th.  Thank you for your participation to help support our school!

We will supplement our study of the letter P and our Pizza Unit with a field trip to Marcello’s Restaurant on Nov. 14^th.  The morning class will meet there at 9:30 and the afternoon will meet at 12:30.  The cost is $5 per student participant and will be due to Mrs. E. by Friday, Nov. 11^th. Parents will be able to order from the menu if they wish.

Our Friendship Feasts will be held on Nov. 21st at 10:30 and 1:30.  All are invited to join us.  We will prepare a meal to share together with our classmates and friends just as the Pilgrims and Native Americans did on that first Thanksgiving.  Specific information will be sent home separately with students.

Preschool will be closed from Nov. 23-Nov. 28. Our class returns to school on Nov.30^th.

A huge thank you to all of the special grown ups who helped us to make our Halloween Party a huge success.  WE HAD A SPOOKTAKULAR TIME!

We are looking for an adult volunteer to dye pasta so that we can create NOODLE NECKLACES. Thank you in advance for your help.

YOU ARE INVITED to a  SPAGHETTI DINNER at TRINITY CHURCH on Nov. 19^th  to benefit the Jim Grove Fund.  There will be two seatings, 4 and 6 PM.  Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under, and children 2 and under are free.  There will also be a basket raffle.  To purchase tickets, please stop in or call the church office at 757-3169 or Vickie Kelly 781-4894.   They are also accepting donations of pounds of spaghetti.
