Welcome Back!  Happy New Year!  Our first day back for our class is Jan. 4th.

During the month of January, we will explore the letters W, I, and O.  We will learn about the season of Winter and have some fun experimenting with snow and ice. We will enjoy a unit learning about ICE CREAM!  Snowmen and owls will help us to review counting, sequencing, measurement, opposites and letter sound identification.  We will be bringing home the book, Snowmen at Night, to share with our families and work together to create our own page in the story.   We will also study Owls and Whales and artic animals, as well as habitats and adaptations.

We will also learn about the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Preschool will be closed on January 21st in honor of the MLK holiday.

I wish to also express my sincere gratitude for the lovely and special Christmas gifts.  Your kindness warms my heart!  Quite a few of them did not have any tags and so I apologize for not being able to send those givers a personal thank you note.

Registration is now open for the 2019-20 school year to our currently enrolled families.  Forms will be sent home with students.  Spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis.  Please return your form and fee as soon as possible to guarantee your place for next year if you are considering PreK for your child or have a sibling registering for our other classes. Registration will be open to the public beginning Feb. 24 at our annual Open House.  We ask for your help in sharing registration / Open House info with family and friends in the coming weeks.  Thank you.

LOOKING AHEAD – We have a field trip scheduled to the Brynes Center in York on Feb. 13th.

We are also looking for some volunteers to help coordinate and assist with our Spring Fundraisers. Please see me if you can help in any way.  Thank you.
