Welcome Back! Happy New Year! Our first day back at preschool is Jan. 4th.

During the month of January, we will explore the letters W, I, and O. We will learn about the season of Winter and have some fun experimenting with snow and ice. We will enjoy a unit learning about ICE CREAM! Snowmen and owls will help us to review counting, sequencing, measurement, opposites and letter sound identification. We will be bringing home the book, Snowmen at Night, to share with our families and work together to create our own page in the story. We will also study Owls and Whales and artic animals, as well as habitats and adaptations.

We will also learn about the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Preschool will be closed on January 16th in honor of MLK.

Thank you to all who helped us enjoy a wonderful Christmas Program and Polar Express Party! I wish to also express my sincere gratitude for all of the lovely and special Christmas gifts. Your kindness warms my heart!
