Band Together

Band Together Program

Penn State Hershey Medical Center is proud to offer a Band Together Exercise Program led by trained volunteers at Trinity. In three one-hour sessions week, parishioners get stronger, feel better, make new friends and most of all have fun participating.

Each week we have a group of dedicated friends that get together on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10am to exercise, using resistance bands and low-impact exercises. These exercises were originally put together by Penn State Health out of Hershey and have been expanded upon by our own participants. The exercises are geared towards helping us all stay healthy and to get around the house better. Come for exercise and stay for the fellowship.

The program is designed to reduce the risk of falling, improve balance, tone muscles, and increase flexibility. Trinity has been hosting this program for more than five-years with great results. Participants tell us they no longer dread stairs, carrying groceries is much easier and reaching that second shelf is possible.

This form program is free or both male and female adults. Please feel free to join parishioners on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 10am to 11am.

Just stop by to see what the program is all about. Our group is always looking for new parishioners to participate or call 717.757.3169 for more information.
